Baltic Sea Beast

Dive into the challenge. Conquer the Gulf of Gdansk.

Anyone who has ever immersed themselves in open water knows that swimming beyond the pool is a completely different reality.
There are no rhythmic turns at the wall, no evenly marked lanes, no constant access to the edge.
Open water is a battle - with waves, temperature, and most of all, with yourself.
If you're looking for a challenge that will test your endurance, character, and determination - choose one of our crossing routes, and we'll help you make it happen.
Safety is our top priority. Every participant is supported by a professional escort team, so you can focus entirely on the challenge itself, not on the conditions around you.

Who Are We?

The Baltic Sea Beast project was born out of a passion for extreme challenges and a deep need to push beyond personal limits.

The crossings are organized by the Baltic Cold Beast Association - founded by Aleksandra Kabelis, Piotr Biankowski, Martyna Górajewska i Beata Zwolińska.
As a team, we’ve been closely connected to the water for years. We've gained experience both as open water swimmers and as crew members on support boats, including during crossings of the English Channel, Catalina Channel, and a swim around Manhattan Island.

Additionally, for the past seven years, we've been organizing the Gdynia Winter Swimming Cup, which in 2024 gained the status of an IWSA World Cup event.

We’re creating a space where everyone can discover what they're truly made of.
The Baltic Sea is not just water. It’s a test.
And an invitation to something far beyond the everyday.
